Dominique "OhSoFamous1" Grant was born in the heart of Jackson, MS. A graduate of Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida. Dominique has spent her professional career as a nationally published journalist and Communications professional. Dominique considers herself the “Spreader of Smiles” and at an early age recognized her gift of making people laugh. She began her acting career at a young age and has been featured in several stage plays, short films and in recent years, stand up comedy.
A true Southern Belle, she decided to go from a Mississippi Magnolia to Georgia Peach and relocated to Atlanta. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dominique enjoys giving back to the community and serving others in need. Locally in Atlanta, Dominique has teamed up with STARS Atlanta Outreach Group to assist in the feeding and clothing of the homeless and impoverished communities around the city, as well as empowering entrepreneurs of color to get the most out of their businesses.
She faithfully attends APEX Everywhere under the pastoral care of Pastors Larry & Eboney Weathers.
She is currently penning a series of novels “But I’m A Church Girl,” with the first book having a SUMMER 2018 release. Dominique desires to reach young women who struggle with day to day life choices while being a Daughter of the King.
Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Everything she does, she does because she has little [BIG] people watching her as she is the proud big sister and Manager to The Infamous D Club. Damion, Devin & Dylan. My Mama couldn't get past D's I guess...so yes we have our own club!
Laughter is food for the soul! Her charm and comedy are reminders that all things good get their start at home! Dominique enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, singing Whitney Houston ballads, long walks on the beach, Cheetos Puffs and of course, Pickled Pig Feet & Chicken!
